Cervical cancer screenings are a critical component of women’s annual exams and well women visits, but the current experience requires an in-person visit and an invasive exam. The Teal Wand will allow a woman to comfortably collect her own sample from the privacy of home, on her own time, mail the sample to a lab, and receive results and connect with a medical provider virtually. This results in less work disruption and increased engagement in a critical preventive cancer screening.

How at-home screening works

1. Request a kit and attend a short visit with a Teal provider to review your screening history and learn about screening at home.
2. Receive your kit, comfortably collect your sample, and mail it to the lab.
3. View results in your Teal portal. If follow-up care is needed, you can connect virtually with a Teal provider to discuss next steps and coordinate your referral care.

The Teal Wand requires a prescription, so a short virtual visit with a Teal provider is needed before we can mail your kit. We'll review your past screenings and discuss the at-home screening process.
